The owners are extreme nice people and it makes me happy to say their food is yummy for the most part. Ok I’ve been here many times now I’ve had their club sandwiches, their steak sandwiches, etc and it is delicious and so flavorable. It was paired w a side of fresh carrots, celery, and cucumber for $17 dollars. Although the chicken was good the amount of the dish was so little. The roasted chicken was so disappointing. Although it was about a 16oz margarita it was 1/2 ice for $11. The margarita was really good, the bartender did a great job mixing just the perfect amount of tequila and margarita mixer so that you had a solid taste for both the alcohol and the sweetness. While I waited I sat at the bar and ordered a margarita. I ordered a roasted chicken breast to go. Make no mistake, the star of the show was the Steak! At a price of $40 it should be. Chocolate lava cake with a chocolate hazelnut tart. More like onion straws but with a little heat. I also had an order of the spicy onion rings. Cooked medium rare with a great crust, boneless and very flavorful. crusted rib eye steak with cheddar bacon butter and served with French Fries.
Fresh & crisp with blue cheese crumbles & sweet bacon strips. Nice flavor but not enough shrimp to worry about. The martini was superior to the margarita. Started with drinks,an avocado margarita and a pineapple flavored martini. When seated the hostess uses a stamp on the cardboard table top that tells you the specials of the evening. Strip mall location with some outside seasonal seating.
Catablu Grille – Menu with Prices – 6372 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne.Overall a rainy afternoon turned into a lovely experience thanks to a random act of kindness. They have a daily happy hour with fabulous prices on cocktails. When I got the check I saw that I had only been charged for happy hour price for my delicious frozen margarita. The service was great and I never felt rushed. It came with steak fries which had an extra crisp on the outside and were also fresh and hot. It was hot, freshly prepared, and very flavorful. After a while I was hungry and ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich. I sipped my beverage under the awning while people watching and enjoying the ocean views while it poured.
I ordered a frozen margarita which was quite refreshing. While we were standing outside 411 South Bar & Grill, Marianna (a bartender) came outside with a large cup of fresh water and fed some to my dog who gulped it up! I wasn’t even a customer! I thought this was supremely kind and decided to stay for a drink. There are a couple of cafes, souvenirs shops, etc. We stopped at the little “strip mall” to get some cover under their awnings. I was walking my dog on Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd when we were caught in one of those downpours. It was a typical South Florida Summer Day: sweltering, humid, with surprise rain storms.
